Assistance with daily life

Depending on a participant's support budget, their may be funding for 'assistance with daily life'.

This is categorised as a 'Core Support' within an NDIS plan and funds everyday personal activities that help you live independently at home and in the community.

How we can support you

Our trained staff offers tailored help at home, ensuring your needs are met with care and professionalism.

Personal care support funding is provided to assistance, or supervision, of daily personal activities such as:

  • Personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing and grooming;

  • Toileting, bladder and bowel management and menstrual care;

  • Eating and drinking;

  • Attending appointments;

  • Use of aids and appliances, hearing and communication devices;

  • Mobility and transferring, for example moving in and out of bed and on or off the toilet; or

  • Application of splints, basic first aid due to injuries sustained as a result of a participant’s disability.

Household tasks covered by NDIS

Support also includes various domestic cleaning and gardening services around the home to assist in maintaining a hygienic environment, all designed to make your daily life more comfortable and manageable.
